Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is intended to clearly define the purposes for which THINK’s services; networks, facilities, systems, programs, intellectual property, real property, and other property may be used. THINK Subscription’s goal is to offer customers a positive experience in their use and enjoyment of the THINK Subscription products and services. To help THINK Subscription offer its customers the best user experience possible and to ensure the THINK Subscription products and services are used in an appropriate manner, all customers need to follow the same rules and guidelines with respect to their rights to the use of the THINK Subscription applications and services. This AUP is designed to help protect customers and the community from irresponsible, abusive or illegal activities, and to make the THINK Subscription products and services available to all customers as consistently and efficiently as possible. By accessing and/or using the THINK Subscription products and services, you agree to adhere to this AUP.

Inappropriate Actions

  • In any way restrict or inhibit any other Customer from using and enjoying THINK Services or the Internet or both.
  • Use THINK’s services to in any way distribute Pornographic, Lewd, Obscene, or otherwise objectionable material or content.
  • Host a publicly-accessible “open relay” SMTP or anonymous email service for any purpose.
  • Send Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (SPAM) to any number of e-mail recipients.
  • Use the SMTP services of a third party for the purposes of relaying or sending electronic mail messages without the express permission of that third party.
  • Maintain, or send e-mail to, opt-in email lists if THE CUSTOMER cannot demonstrate, that the member of said list(s) have knowingly requested to be added to the list(s) in question through direct action of their own doing, and that easily-accessible, automated opt-out/removal mechanisms are in place and available to the members of the list(s).
  • Violate Copyright laws or in any way violate the copyright of another individual.
  • Engage in any activity that is, or appears to be, an attempt to gain unauthorized access remote system or network, or to gain information that could later be used to assist in gaining unauthorized access to remote system or network, such as port scanning, dictionary attacks, denial of service attacks, server or service hijacking, etc.
  • Engage in any of the foregoing activities using the service of another provider, but channeling such activities through any of THINK’s systems, services, networks, or software.
  • Falsify contact or personal information provided to THINK.
  • Use THINK’s services in violation or contravention of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended by the telecommunications Act of 1996, or any other applicable law, regulation, order or other governmental directive, or abuse or fraudulently use the service in any way not specifically set forth above.
  • Further, if THE CUSTOMER is notified by THINK, via e-mail or THE CUSTOMER discovers on their own or through any other means, that THE CUSTOMER themselves or any third party under THE CUSTOMER’s control of a violation of this AUP, THE CUSTOMER will take commercially reasonable steps are necessary to stop such activity, and prevent repeat violations by the offending entity.
